Rossi Group in first place among railway construction companies

Rossfin, the financial holding company of the Rossi Group owning GCF - Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie and Gefer, moved up to 15th place in the ranking of 50 Italian construction groups.

The annual "Special Classification" drawn by the weekly Edilizia & Territorio publication (Il Sole 24 Ore financial news group) listing top names in the construction field analyses the leading 50 groups and the top 100 companies operating in construction, civil, general and specialist sectors.
Rossfin’s performance - climbing two places from 17th in 2014 - is all the more impressive since it leads the specialist groups operating exclusively in the railway sector with production results far ahead of other specialists in the railway segment.

As regards the "individual" rankings of the "Top 100 Construction Companies”, Gefer achieved a very significant leap forwards in the middle band from 86th to 64th place, while GCF consolidated the 17th place already taken last year, confirming its status as the leading Italian railway construction company.

The rankings published by Il Sole 24 Ore indirectly confirm the health status of the specialist railway construction sector certified a few weeks by the ANCE 2016 Report focusing on Italian construction companies most successful abroad: 25% of total orders handled by Italian construction firms abroad are precisely in the railway sector.
