Active for 100 years in the railway and civil construction sector, Cenedese S.p.A., passed from father to son and now in its fourth generation, was gradually acquired by GCF - Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie S.p.A., becoming part of the Group in 2025.

Principali competenze

Established at national level for technologies, innovation and highly qualified personnel, Cenedese S.p.A. operates in maintenance and construction works on behalf of RFI, Mercitalia, ports and interports and other industrial clients at national level.

In particular, it operates in the execution of construction and maintenance works of railway track and related infrastructures, works on tramway lines, construction of foundations for railway sites, construction of running tracks for port cranes.

Temporary and mobile worksites on the Italian railway network, the main activity carried out by the company, are generally distributed throughout Northern Italy, without however excluding the possibility of interventions throughout the national territory.

CENEDESE, Certified Systems
Cenedese, one of the first Italian companies to obtain ISO 9001 certification back in the 1990s, holds several certifications and authorisations that enable it to participate in tenders issued by RFI and to be included in subcontractor shortlists by operators participating in tenders for which there is no limit on the qualification category. It is registered in the RFI SQ004 qualification system (track infrastructure) for the maintenance and construction of railway lines.
