Founded in 1996, Platinum Track Services Inc. has been operating in Canada, particularly in Ontario, for over 40 years and provides track maintenance services, track and switch construction, material supply and logistics, worksite protection, rental of operating machinery. It boasts a management team which, with over 40 years of experience, spans three generations.

GCF completed its acquisition in 2021, continuing to invest in technology and expertise in order to consolidate its status of excellence.

Machine fleet

The experience gained over the years, together with a complete set of high-efficiency machines, allows the management of complex projects in the railway sector for the strengthening and improvement of infrastructure service capabilities in the regions of North America.

In our fleet: tamping machines, cranes for sleeper handling, renewal train, road-rail vehicles, high-efficiency rail heating machines, railway material handling machines, wagons and specialized equipment.

COR Certification

Due to its constant attention to worker safety and health, Platinum Track Service has obtained the prestigious COR accreditation for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

The “Certificate of Recognition” – a national mark issued by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations (CFSA) – aims to certify a company’s “Safety Excellence”. It certifies that a company has adopted a code of conduct and positive practices aligned with national excellence standards and aims to promote policies effectively capable of ensuring greater efficiency and safety for employees, clients and end users of services.

Main clients

Among Platinum Track Service Inc.’s clients are some of the world’s largest railway players: Metrolinx, Industrial, Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Railway, the latter being the protagonist of the recent acquisition for 23 billion euros of Kansas City Southern, a prelude to the creation of a single railway network of 20,000 miles – 32,000 km – connecting Canada, the United States and Mexico.
