Founded with a single mission: to manage railway renewal works in compliance with safety, quality and deadlines. Transalp Renouvellement has been operating in France for over 12 years, widely known for its large fleet of high-efficiency machinery and for its absolutely excellent operational performance.
A bit of history
Transalp Renouvellement was founded in 2013 to respond to the “Suite Rapide” tender 2013–2017. The partnership between GCF, DELCOURT RAIL, ESAF and ETMF was decisive for the signing of this contract with SNCF. The same year saw the opening of the first fast renewal “en suite rapide” construction site in France.
For the 2018–2024 campaign, Transalp was awarded 2 out of 3 lots in the tender. A major recognition of competence, organization and production capacity by SNCF and an important challenge for the company, which committed to renewing 400 km of track per year.

Competences
All Transalp Renouvellement teams are composed of professionals experienced and passionate about the railway world. These workers are supported by specialists in “rapid maintenance” recognized both in France and Europe. Their objectives remain always the same: to replace tracks in the shortest possible time, at a rate of 1 km of renewed track per day, while maintaining impeccable quality.
The availability of powerful specialized trains and high-efficiency machines, the precise scheduling of works, the extensive training of personnel working on track (over 250 people per site), and the careful breakdown of renewal operations into phases constitute the formula that has allowed Transalp to operate throughout France in the renewal of hundreds of kilometers of high-traffic railway lines.
