Dynamic tamping
A powerful and versatile machine capable of operating on lines and points alike.
It performs the following operations:
- tamping of crushed stone using "hammers" that penetrate into the material and, using a vibro-compression system, insert it underneath the sleepers,
- rail alignment using automatic operating systems (for straight lines) or with external reference points, known as “pickets" (for curves),
- track levelling at the measurements based on reference points.
Tamping units
Two tamping units, for a total of 32 adjustable angle "hammers" operating at the ideal frequency of 35 Hz.
Lifting units
Dual roller-type lifting clamp complete with longitudinally movement along the rails and automatic adaptation to curves in the path, thereby avoiding any accidental transmission of force on to the tails.
Telescopic arm with double flange rollers and lifting and swapping clamps.
Measurement system
Absolute-base measurement unit and recording unit capable of digitally saving up to 8 levelling parameters to provide constant mapping of the path.
