GCF in Berlin with the best of the railway industry

GCF at InnoTrans: Hall 26B, Stand 315

Innovation takes centre stage at InnoTrans 2026

“Global mobility – shaping projects and growth opportunities” is the official opening theme of InnoTrans 2026.
Thirty years after its debut, this year the major railway event, a global showcase for innovation, will bring together at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 22 to 25 September the most significant developments and trends in the international rail transport and mobility sector. GCF will once again be present with its own exhibition stand (Hall 26B, Stand 315).

“We bring the experience gained through more than 70 years of commitment to the construction of railway infrastructure, trackwork, electrification and signalling,” explains Giuseppe Brecciaroli, Executive Director of Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie. “Two years after the previous edition, we are presenting the progress achieved by GCF and the Group in terms of corporate consolidation and, in particular, our ability to operate as a system contractor in railway and tramway infrastructure, integrating civil works, railway trackwork and electric traction systems within a single construction process. This combination of expertise is today one of the Group’s key strengths in the development of high-tech public transport systems.”

Today, the Group has 10 strategic locations in Italy and 11 locations abroad. In addition to consolidating its “traditional” areas of expertise – Trackwork, Electrification and Signalling – its operating companies and divisions have developed outstanding capabilities in the relatively new fields of High Voltage, civil works and technological innovation applied to railway safety and sustainable mobility.

At the 2026 edition, from 22 to 25 September, GCF will be present (Hall 26B, Stand 315) to showcase its expertise and know-how, present its innovative solutions, and meet suppliers, customers, operators and decision-makers from international markets.
