Renewal work is in full swing for the last work sites in 2018
Another 160 kilometres of renewal work for the last two GCF work sites in France. Work on the fifth work site for 2018 has begun over the last few days in both Lots 2 and 3 of the TransalpRenouvellement consortium. It is now in full swing and involves two powerful Suite Rapide convoys recently boosted by the purchase of high performing trains and machinery.

Recently unveiled at Innotrans in Berlin, it aroused a great deal of general interest. Visitors to the trade fair were impressed by the fact that the Dynamic Weighting System, which is used to measure railway track loads and has been developed by the GCF R&D Department with collaboration from the Sapienza University of Rome and Milan Polytechnic, is accurate and reliable as well as lightweight, versatile and easy to install.
GCF consolidates 15th place, ranking first among specialist companies

Positive debut for GCF at Innotrans 2018

First results of GCF's commitment in the broadband market
There were 23,000 as of 30 September and the figure is set to rise to 60,000 by the end of the year. These are the Real Estate Units now served by High Speed fibre optics installed by GCF in five Italian cities, as commissioned by Open Fiber. These are the first results for Generale Costruzioni Ferroviarie after entering the Italian fibre optic market earlier this year.
